This award if being granted every year to civil engineering projects, being chosen by an expert jury from wide spectrum of construction projects realized all over the Czech Republic, with accent on the quality of the intent and its implementation. The announcer of this contest is the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic, the Ministry for Regional Development, and the Association of Building Entrepreneurs of the Czech Republic. From September 12th to 13th 2009 Days of European Heritage took part in a newly rediscovered cellar from the 12th century under Týn School in a restaurant Caffé Italia with about a daily participation of more than 1000 visitors. Days of European Heritage is an event, which takes place all over Europe under the auspices of the Council of Europe.

During the Days of European Heritage the general public can visit unique and interesting sights and buildings. Sometimes you can even visit the sights, which have been close to the public for a long time.
